Drapery Panels are the most common window treatment. Why? Because there is so much you can do to a simple straight panel. The first option is adding trim down the inside of the panel. It can be tassel trim, gimp or a wide decorative banding. This helps to add a little touch of color to a common plain panel.
However, there is so much more available. When you walk into a room, your eye immediately is drawn to the top of the window. Use simple hardware but dress up the top of the panels. One of my favorite is the smocked heading, which of course be great for a girl’s room.
Here are a few other examples. We have used these in Living Rooms, Dining Rooms and bedrooms. They can be dressed up to be formal or change the fabric to be more whimsical. Once you pick out your “inspiration”, Creative Interiors can help incorporate the style and fabrics together to be the icing on the cake, so to speak.
Here is a good example of the goblet pleat made 2 different ways. The sections of the heading between pleats are cut in a scalloped shape. Add a small piping to the curve will help accent the fabric. Just a little touch to pull it all together. It’s always the little things that make it so much better. Creative Interiors can help with all those details.
